————————————————————– INGREDIENTS —————————————————————————–
*EMPANADA DOUGH*
(to make about 10-15 empanadas, depending on the size)
-2 cups of flour
-50 grams. of unsalted melted butter
-150-200 mL of salted warm water

*MEAT EMPANADAS* (you’ll have enough for 12-15 empanadas)
-1 big onion, chopped in squares
-0.5 kg / ½ lb ground beef
-½ red pepper, chopped in squares
-5 green onions, chopped
-1 tsp. paprika
-1 tsp. ground cumin
-a pinch of nutmeg
-a pinch of Argentinian ají, if you can find it!
-Salt and pepper to taste
-1 hard-boiled egg, chopped
-1 pack of olives (about 15), chopped

*SPINACH FILLING* (for 6 to 8 empanadas)
-2-3 cups of fresh spinach
-¼ of an onion, chopped in squares
-salt and pepper to taste (or whichever way you’d like to season it)
-about 1 cup of mozzarella cheese (in cubes or shredded)

*NUTELLA EMPANADAS*
-Nutella (about ½ cup)
-1 banana, sliced

*optional, to serve: chimichurri
